Mr. Paul Lally To Narrate Copland's "Lincoln Portrait" at SWS's Memorial Day Concert

The Strafford Wind Symphony is pleased to announce that Mr. Paul Lally perform the narration of Aaron Copland's  Lincoln Portrait at SWS's May 31 performance at the Rochester Opera House. 

Paul has over 30 years of experience writing, producing and directing for PBS and commercial television.

His PBS screenwriting credits include a screenplay for American Playhouse, and episodic writing for Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. His commercial television writing credits include two screenplays for Walt Disney Productions, Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel.

His on-camera hosting and narration for children’s television series include Gather ‘Round, Gather ‘Round Again, and Teletales. He has narrated performance pieces with the Pittsburgh Symphony and the Baltimore Symphony.

His broadcasting awards include three regional Emmys, two CINE Gold Eagles, two New York International Film and Television Festival Gold Medals, and a Corporation for Public Broadcasting Silver Award.

He has a Master’s Degree in Journalism and Communication and has taught college level courses in screenwriting and television production at the University of New Hampshire, and the New Hampshire Art Institute.
